Kristie is a valuable and reliable team member who excels in handling challenging situations. Her ability to showcase great skills and work effectively under added pressure is commendable. For an example BART once called stating there was an issue with the Transbay tube, Kristie took immediate action by stepping up and ensuring the standby operators began picking up customers without hesitation.

Journey Level Mechanic

Mr. Lee is recognized for his outstanding work in the small component department. He has been a valued and joyful co-worker to everyone, with his relentless drive to stay busy. He pays careful attention to detail when rebuilding any item given to him. Steve brings a good work ethic and friendly team attitude to the Unit Room. Thank you, Steve, for all your support in our mission to provide quality parts for the divisions.

Operator Kelvin Payne is customer friendly, cordial to his co-workers and dependable. He always has a pleasant disposition and carries himself in a professional manner that represents AC Transit in a positive light. 

Shahryar Muzaffar

Journey Level Mechanic

Sharhryar, or “Yar” as he prefers, comes to the District from the automotive industry. His transition into the Heavy-Duty Coach Technician has been a flawless one. His workmanship and attention to detail are admirable. Even as far as paying attention to the condition of the shop. On several occasions, “Yar” has taken care of messes left behind and kept safety in mind. The District appreciates your efforts.  

Kenneth Washington

Bus Operator

Kenneth Washington (Ken) is a great driver, who enjoys his job. He doesn’t hesitate to assist new drivers, and mentoring them. Ken is also one of our safety committee members, making sure his co-workers can perform their jobs in a safe environment.

Dinieri is a passionate, self-motivated team leader who sets the standard for productivity in his department. Dinieri takes great pride in his attendance record and comes to work daily to ensure our fleet is ready for service. Dinieri most recently stepped in as the ATU Shop Steward, using his powerful voice, knowledge, experience, and great personality to guide his co-workers with any issues. Thank you, Dinieri; you have proven to be an asset to the District!  

Alita Webb

Dispatcher/ EQ Office Manager

Alita Webb is a multifaceted, professional, and positive individual. Mrs. Webb holds herself accountable and is always willing to go above and beyond while dispatching at the window. Alita is also an Extra Qualified Office Manager and recently performed flawlessly for our Spring 2024 Sign-Up. Division 4 is proud to have Alita on the East Oakland Team. 

Phedrick Wilson

Janitor

Phedrick “Peaches” has been a great addition to the D4 janitorial staff from day one. Recently, she has shown exemplary pride in stepping up and taking charge of how the janitorial staff has been doing their jobs. We have been short-handed recently, and she has made sure the work has been getting done, directing the workload and taking care of the extra tasks that can get overlooked. On top of that, she has also been teaching our newest recruit and filling in when we don’t have enough staffing to cover shifts. 

Claudia Figueroa

Claudia Figueroa is one of our newest Operators at D6, with focus and a very positive attitude, she sets herself apart as someone that exemplifies what Division 6 is all about “Greatness”. Providing excellent customer service to our customers and being supportive of her fellow Operators, Claudia has done a wonderful job as a member of our Team. Please help me in congratulating Claudia for her hard work and dedication.
