Rules for Public Comment:
Speakers wishing to address the Board or Committee(s) should complete a Speaker’s Form and submit it to the District Secretary. Speakers wishing to address subjects not listed on this agenda will be invited to speak under the "PUBLIC COMMENTS" section of the agenda. Speakers wishing to address a specific agenda item will be invited to address the Board/Committee(s) at the time the item is being considered. All speakers should limit their comments to two (2) minutes. Individuals wanting to present more detailed information are encouraged to submit comments in writing. Written comments are made part of the written record for meetings, and as such, are available for public inspection and may be posted to the web.

Electronic Devices:
Ordinance No. 12 prohibits the use of electronic devices (cellular phones, pagers and/or walkie-talkies) during meetings of the Board of Directors, Board Committees, or advisory committees.

Time of Meetings:
Times included on this agenda for commencement of Committee meetings or a Closed Session are estimates only. Committee meetings and Closed Session will begin upon the conclusion of the preceding meeting.

Time Limitation on Board Meetings:
The Board shall attempt to finish its business within three hours of the beginning of each meeting (not including Closed Sessions) and may vote to extend the time for completion of the meeting as specified in a motion for continuance. There is no limitation on the number of motions for continuance the Board may consider.

Discussion/Action:
The Board/Committee(s) may take action on any item listed on this agenda and in any order.

Agenda Planning:
The Agenda Planning portion of the agenda is designed to assist the Board/Committee(s) and staff in the preparation of future Board and Committee agendas. The Board/Committee(s) will determine whether to place proposed agenda items on a future agenda for further consideration.

LIVE Audio Streaming of Board and Committee Meetings:
AC Transit provides live audio streaming of all Board of Directors and Standing Committee meetings via the District’s website: www.actransit.org. An archive of previously streamed meetings is also available. For technological reasons, recordings of meetings held outside of the Board Room cannot be streamed to the web.

Availability of Agenda Related Materials:
Written agenda related materials for all open session regular meetings are available to the public 72 hours prior to the meeting or at the time the materials are distributed to a majority of the Board. Agenda related materials presented to the Board of Directors by staff or another member of the Board at a meeting will be available to the public at that time or after the meeting if the materials are prepared by some other person. Agenda related materials are available on the District’s website or by contacting the District Secretary.

Accessible Public Meetings:
Written agenda materials in appropriate alternative formats or disability related modification or accommodation, including auxiliary aids or services, will be available upon request. Please direct requests to the District Secretary and include your name, mailing address, phone number and a brief description of the requested materials and preferred alternative format. Assistive Listening Devices are available in the Board Room for individuals with a hearing impairment. Please see the District Secretary prior to the start of the meeting for assistance.

Animals on District Property:
Ordinance No. 13 prohibits bringing non-service animals to District facilities unless specifically authorized by federal or state law.

Scented Products:
Please refrain from wearing scented products as there may be attendees susceptible to environmental illnesses.
